Sacramental Programme

Sacramental Programme 2026-2027

The programme for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion has now started. There are four elements to this programme:

1. Attend Mass each weekend at Our Lady’s Church in Ellesmere Port (Mass times are Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at 9am and 11am)

2. Become actively involved in our parish (eg, read, be an altar server, welcome parishioners, do the offertory etc)

3. Engage in weekly reflection activities which demonstrate their understanding of the Sunday Gospels

4. Attend preparation lessons at school (catechesis) – these will take place in the spring term.

Children will not be able to participate in the catechesis sessions if the first three elements of the programme have not been met.

If you would like more information on this programme, please contact Fr Godlove or Mrs Le Feuvre.
